My Vibe Coding Starting Point

Why I Started Trying AI Coding

I am an industrial robotics engineer, not a professional programmer.

In the past, many small tool ideas stopped at the starting line because I did not know how to structure the project, build the UI, or search for the right technical details. AI coding tools lowered that barrier.

Now I can describe a real need first, then let AI help split it into pages, features, and coding tasks. It is not perfect, but it makes many ideas easier to turn into working tools.

How AI Coding Helps Me

For a non-professional programmer, AI coding is most useful because it breaks down the problem of "I do not know where to start."

It helps me:

  • Turn rough ideas into PRDs
  • Generate a runnable first version
  • Explain code and errors
  • Write README files and usage notes
  • Adjust implementation when requirements change

Tools I Am Building

Current directions include:

  • Industrial robot program learning and material organization
  • Robot payload parameter checking
  • Claude Code launcher
  • Quick input and reusable text snippets
  • Windows power control

These projects are not meant to look large. They are meant to solve real repeated problems.

What I Want to Explore Next

I want to keep exploring:

  • How to organize robotics experience into a searchable knowledge base
  • How AI can help write and understand technical documents
  • How to make small desktop tools more stable and easier to distribute
  • How to record the whole development process, not just the final code
